Omega 30S
"Alfa Omega" - fully refurbished classic from the Vindö shipyard
The Omega 30S is designed by renowned New Zealand boat designer Ron Holland, known for his elegant and sailing designs. The model is built at the traditional Vindö shipyard in Sweden, which for decades has stood for top quality craftsmanship in terms of construction, material selection and fitting out.
The Omega 30S is a stable, harmonious and fast sailing family boat that is not designed according to any specific measurement rule, but with a focus on comfort, sailing performance and aesthetics. It is easy to handle - even for one person - thanks to the self-tacking furling jib, mainsail with through-battens, lazybag, single line rope and self-steering, and all halyards and lines are led back to the cockpit.

The cockpit is spacious and functional, with long coffin benches (over 2 meters), teak on decks and benches and high comfort with solid backrests.
To leeward, the boat is bright, well laid out and inviting, with a large cabin opening, spacious saloon, longitudinal pantry with double sink, front-opening refrigerator and two-burner gas oven.
"Alfa Omega" is probably one of the most comprehensive and well-executed refits of an Omega 30S in Denmark. Over the past decade, a larger amount than the current asking price has been invested in a thorough technical and cosmetic upgrade from mast to keel. The result is a boat that is in exceptionally good condition - fully ready to sail, with no need for further action. There is extensive documentation for virtually all improvements and replacements carried out.
