Turn-key ready for new adventures
Freedom begins the moment you step aboard – when you feel the yacht’s calm, hypnotic movements and hear the gentle lapping of water against the hull as the sun’s warmth slowly embraces you. The first sunset is best enjoyed with a vodka martini – shaken, not stirred – while the horizon glows and the world stands still.
Aboard Lady Marjan you feel invincible, whatever Mother Nature may deliver. The yacht lies rock-steady in the water; even twenty people on one side barely move her. The displacement, hull form, and build quality provide a stability most smaller motorboats can only dream of. She handles easier, sails smoother, and rides more comfortably than vessels half her size.

Lady Marjan is a classic Danish-built yacht – 92 feet of craftsmanship, strength, and timeless elegance. Built in Broager for Scandinavian conditions, designed for commercial year-round operation, and fitted with every comfort you would expect ashore. In 2001/2002 she underwent a major refit at Hvide Sande Shipyard, carried out by JB Marine – a trusted Hallberg-Rassy supplier – in collaboration with Lars T. Olsen of CDE Danish Marine Design (cde-dmd.com). The result is a rare combination of classic lines and Scandinavian design sensibility where function and aesthetics work seamlessly together.
Here, freedom, nature, and luxury meet in a floating home built to be lived in – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Even freedom itself is within easy reach – M/Y Lady Marjan is approved by the Danish Maritime Authority for operation under a Yachtskipper 3 (Y3) license, which can be obtained in just two weekends. The dream is closer than most imagine.

Long-range blue-water yacht with exceptionally low operating costs
Two Mercedes V12 (OM 424) engines, each delivering 420 HP, ensure solid propulsion with modest fuel consumption. Twin bow thrusters and a stern thruster make manoeuvring effortless, while two robust generators provide reliable onboard power. Despite her size, Marjan consumes less fuel than many 45-foot fiberglass boats. All systems are commercial-grade – built to last, not to polish.

Designed for year-round living and adventure
Accommodation for a family of five – four true cabins, full standing height throughout, and a large roof terrace with 360° sea views. A fully insulated steel hull, double-glazed windows, oil-fired boiler with hydronic heating, and two insulated freshwater tanks make life onboard comfortable in any season. Marjan can operate self-sufficiently for weeks. You won’t have to give up a workshop or home gym – both are already onboard – and with a heated laundry room even the children can be persuaded to do the washing.
Few vessels truly allow a family to live permanently onboard without compromise. The fit-out of Lady Marjan feels more like a home than a ship – spacious, practical, and comfortable – yet with a deep maritime soul that preserves her authenticity while offering the convenience of life on land.

Attractive income potential
When not in personal use, Marjan can generate approximately EUR 54,000 annually through short-term rentals, events, or charter. She has previously served as a private residence, an event yacht in Copenhagen, Skagen, and Bornholm, as well as a floating office and hospitality platform.

Location and surroundings
Lady Marjan is berthed at Aalborg Marina on her own longside berth – arguably with the most beautiful sunset in Denmark. Residential registration at the marina is possible. The area offers open views, nature, and easy access to Fur, Skagen, and the Swedish west coast.

Financials and sale
The vessel was appraised during the 2022 up-market at approximately EUR 0,985 million and is now priced for a prompt sale, as the owner has moved ashore. The seller offers five-year interest-only financing of up to EUR 134,000, secured by a mortgage on the yacht, at 5.5 % p.a. The remaining balance is payable in cash. There is also the possibility of a trade-in with another asset valued at up to EUR 134,000.
Please note that mortgage (realkredit) loans cannot be obtained for live-aboard vessels in Denmark. Prospective buyers should therefore arrange financing through private funds or bank facilities before making contact. Enquiries are welcomed only from buyers with verified financial capability and genuine purchase intent.
Example financing structure:
• Own payment: approx. EUR 362,000 (≈ DKK 2,7 million)
• Seller financing: EUR 134,000 (≈ DKK 1,0 million)
• Deposit upon signing: to be agreed
Why settle for a summer house when you can own freedom itself – a floating home ready for sea, fellowship, and new horizons. A yacht of Marjan’s calibre may take time to sell, but it always does – and when the market rises, so does her value.

What to know when considering a live-aboard
Living on the water requires more than dreams of sunsets and freedom. A live-aboard must function as a full-time residence, offering the same comfort, safety, and practicality as a home ashore. As a holiday home, it’s equally important that the vessel can safely look after itself for extended periods without supervision.
When exploring the live-aboard market, you should ensure the following criteria are met. Lady Marjan naturally ticks them all:
• Full insulation: Hull and superstructure properly insulated with no thermal bridges, especially around windows and joints.
• Material quality: All systems and finishes in durable, marine-grade materials – no lightweight or plastic fittings.
• Home-level comfort: Equipment and usability matching a modern home – kitchen, bath, laundry, heating, and reliable high-speed internet.
• Space and privacy: Sufficient room to move freely and withdraw when needed.
• Adequate capacities: Large tanks for fresh- and wastewater ensure independence for longer stays.
• Workshop and storage: Dedicated areas for maintenance, tools, and stowage.
• Entrance and passageways: Space for coats, shoes, and gear – important for daily life and guests.
• Sound insulation: Proper noise damping to prevent marina or neighbour noise from disturbing sleep.
• Safety: Solid rails, non-slip decks, and well-installed safety systems.
• Layout and insurance: The interior should allow for standard household insurance coverage.
• High freeboard: Ensures safety for children, pets, and guests.
• Backup systems: Redundant power, heating, and pump solutions for reliability in all conditions – preparedness should be an option, not a necessity.
• Low energy consumption: Proper insulation and efficient systems reduce operating costs.
• Hydronic heating: Even comfort and warmth throughout all rooms.
• Space for family and guests: A good live-aboard should host the whole family – and still have room for the in-laws.
