Galeasen Jutta af Christianshavn was originally built as a shark cutter in oak on oak in 1927 at Carstensens and Henriksen's shipyard in Skagen.
Converted to a galleass in the 70s and as M/S Vesterby sailed tours for young people until the 90s. Rebuilt in the 90s as a private pleasure yacht with deckhouse and new accommodation.
In recent years, the galley has been used extensively for both shorter fishing trips in Øresund and longer sailing trips in Danish waters. Jutta is located in the center of Copenhagen in Nyhavn and is one of the beautiful old wooden ships that adorn the inner harbor of Nyhavn.
The space in Nyhavn is not included, but is managed by Nyhavnsforeningen and is not something the owners have any

The galley is furnished with a large and spacious salon and fully equipped pantry/kitchen. Toilet with shower.
From the saloon there is access to 2 spacious sleeping cabins that are adjacent to each other. There are 10 permanent berths.
Named after Countess Jutta of Rosenborg, President of the Seamen's Association of 1856 and Princess Marie's Home for Old Sailors and Seamen's Widows, who took over the ship in 2017. The galleass is part of the project "Help for Self-Help" for young people.
