The ship was renovated by the Naval Home Guard in 1987 with, among other things:

- New teak deck (built up with plywood, fiberglass and teak).
- Renovated wheelhouse with fiberglass exterior.
- Installed Grenaa marine diesel engine.
- Superstructure over engine room in wooden construction covered with fiberglass.
- Transom replaced before the current owner took over the ship.

Since taking over in 2000, the current owner has continuously maintained the ship, including:

- Annual maintenance at the shipyards in Holbæk and Gilleleje.
- Replacement of the grooves between the planks in the hull below the waterline over a number of years (approx. from 2014).
- Joints in teak decks milled and regrouted (approx. 2019).
- Replacement of life rafts in 2021.
- Regular engine service at Grenaa Diesel every two years (approximately every 2000 hours).

The story of Marianne-F:

Marianne-F. ex. The mine sweeper MS 5 was built at Holbæk Skibs- og bådebyggeri in 1941 according to the naval shipyard's drawings as one of the 10 wooden ships that the Navy received for sweeping magnetic mines.

In August 1943, the ship was seized by German forces, but was recovered and taken over by the Navy again after the peace agreement in 1945.

In 1951, the ship was loaned out as a training vessel for the "Maritime Department of the Home Guard Command School" and later around the flotillas. In 1951, the ship was renamed "ENØ - M562". In 1960, ENØ was reclassified as a training vessel "Y 388", and in 1965 it was handed over to the Naval Home Guard as "MVH 82 ENØ".

In May 2000, "ENØ" was sold out of the fleet to Freddy Nielsen. The ship was renamed Marianne-F and classified as a vessel worthy of preservation - given a home port in Holbæk and used for leisure purposes.

The ship has retained its original exterior, interior and color, but without the navy's other uniforms. Marianne-F is now used for sailing with anglers and tourists, as well as anyone who wants an experience on the water.

The ship is allowed to sail with max. 33 passengers
